Exception thrown in v 3.5 at end of backup

Just upgraded to v3.5, and backups that had been running smoothly are now terminating with this exception below. I believe it has to do with sending backup reports via email, because for these backups that fail this way, no email report is sent. (For others, I do receive it).

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Have same problem when running scheduled task. Did not occur with 3.4.x.
Does not occur when running same task manualy from CCC window.
Does occur when task is run manually from scheduled tasks window ie by hitting "run" button.
Did try to delting task and resaving....problem still remains.

Let me know if this problem persists with this version of CCC:

    http://www.bombich.com/software/download_ccc.php?v=3.5

To replace your existing version of CCC with this version:

    1. Move the older version aside (e.g. to the Trash or Desktop, but do not empty the Trash)
    2. Launch the new version and proceed to updated the scheduled tasks when prompted
    3. Discard the older version

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike, proceeded as instructed.
Set scheduled task to run at 4:15PM with newly downloaded version.
Ran flawlessly and reported through email as requested. No exception errors in log.

    Thanx.

So far, so good. I'll know more tonight after my four scheduled tasks complete, but a quick test of a scheduled event had no problems.

Just curious, what changed in the new version?

Oh - I assumed your link was to a different build from the v3.5 I was running. So the only difference is a "clean" install versus the in-place update process?

Thanks so much for your help and support!

Last night's backups ran to completion and emails were all sent -- no exceptions this time around!

    Problem solved -- Thanks!

I'm sorry for that silly answer, that's lack of sleep right there... The difference in the new version is that I solved a bug in which CCC's software update ran into an "out of bounds" string access. I don't think I've run into it before because "3.5" is shorter than the numbers I've worked with since implementing the functionality. Anyway, once the exception was hit, it basically flushed the current thread.
