(I am a kind of new to Mac) I downloaded ccc-3-1.5.dmg to try out before upgrading with Mountain Lion OS. After ccc-3-1.5.dmg was downloaded in the Downloads directory, i double click it to install. Then Carbon Copy Center icon was created on desktop and then an window popped up. The window says that "Before you begin using CCC, please copy it to your hard drive." So I copied the dmg file to /Applications directory. But nothing happened. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

    Hi Joseph:

In the window that appeared, drag the "Carbon Copy Cloner" icon (the blue and white "C" icon) to your Applications folder, not the .dmg file. Move the .dmg file to the Trash when you're done, then drag the white Carbon Copy Cloner volume to the Trash as well.

    Hi Mike

    Now i successfully loaded it

It should say that you drag the icon to the applications directory instead of copying it to the application directory

    anyway thank you very much
