Provide them? You have to identify the source and target volumes. They can be on an int HD, an ext HD. or both.

CCC started asking recently.
They used to appear and CCC started copying automatically.

Then, I surmise you were manually running saved tasks. I don't do that, but suspect that you updated CCC. IIRC, you have to update them to run with the new version.

If possible, I want to stay with !0.6.7
Do I have to update to run automatically?
Can I run the latest CCC on 10.6.7?

CCC version 3.5.1 is the latest version available. Users running Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, or 10.8 should use this version of CCC. BTW, I'm running 10.6.8 w/o any issues. Why aren't you?

I tried Lion and didn't like it.
An AppleCare person told me that 10.6.7 was more secure.
I didn't know I could install 3.5.1.
