Error installing update 3.3.2 over 3.3

The update will not install: I get the message "The operation can’t be completed because the item “ccc_helper” is in use." Now 3.3 will not launch either.
I tried force quitting BOTH "ccc_helper" items in Activity Monitor to no avail.

What's up? Everything has worked faultlessly until now. It's a great program and I want to continue to use it!

   Hi Michael:

   Try this:

   1) Move the current version of CCC to your Desktop
   2) Download the new version from this direct link and copy it to wherever you'd like to to ultimately reside
   3) Launch the new version -- you should now be prompted to reload the scheduled tasks

   That should take care of things and you should now be able to delete the old version.
