I want to make an exact and complete disk image of my flash drive to another drive. I chose restore disk image and chose my source drive and it asks for complete set? Is it possible to copy an exact disk image with free space, etc. thanks

    Hi Ken:

Choose your Flash disk as the source (I'm not sure why you chose "Restore from disk image" if you're making the initial backup). Then choose "New disk image" from the Destination menu and choose to create a read-only disk image. If you want to preserve volume attributes precisely, then:

    1. Choose "Preferences" from the Carbon Copy Cloner menu
    2. Check the box to indicate when a block-level copy is possible, then close the preferences window
    3. Click the "Block copy" button

When CCC creates a block copy, it will preserve all of the filesystem attributes of the source.
