I backup my HD using both Backup Programs. This may not be a fair comparison but thought you may have a comment. I maintain both backups on a single external HD. It is connected to my computer (iMac, 2.4 GHz Intel Core2 Duo, version 10.6.8) via Firewire 800. Both backups are a bootable copy. The test was run one right after the other. The CCC took 7:07 minutes and the Super Duper took 9:07 minutes. I used the latest version of both programs. I know 2 minutes is not all that impressive but this is the first time that CCC has copied my HD consuming less time. It has always taken at least 4-5 minutes more. Maybe the new version of CCC has something to do with this. I would appreciate it if you have time to drop me an E-mail with your impression.
Thank you

It has been quite a while since I have run a comparison between the two, but CCC has always maintained at least a 15% performance advantage in my own comparisons. I'm not surprised by your results :-)
